
Incase you didn’t know yet, last week Sony announced that they have cut the price of their Playstation 2 gaming consoles. Obviously, this decision was made by Sony to anticipate the release of Playstation 3 next November - if not delayed again. Now, while waiting for that PS3, you can buy the console for $129.99 (originally $149) or $139.99 in Canada. Some major online retailers’ sites has reflected the new price, including Amazon, CircuitCity, and WalMart. Note that Sony has also reduced the price for its portable gaming console, PSP, down to $200 last month.
Hmmm, why they didn’t cut the price before I bought PS2 three months ago…
