Samsung Electronics finally officially announced “SGH-i550“, its first GPS-enabled smartphone, during Symbian Smartphone Show in London. I’ve posted the complete specs here, so there’s no need to re-post the detail. A quick hint: Samsung SGH-i550 is a candy bar-type handset powered by Symbian OS v9.2 and S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 platform. Some of its highlighted features are a HSDPA connectivity, a 128MB of RAM, a 2.6-inch display, a 3.2 megapixel camera module with video editing capability, a 150MB of onboard memory, and a FM radio tuner.
Samsung said that SGH-i550 cell phone will start shipping in Europe starting from November 2007.
