Hop-On Wireless will soon release a new entry-level cell phone named “HOP1883″. Eventhough it comes with only basic communication and multimedia functions, the company is kind enough to include SiRF Star III GPS receiver inside the handset, thus allowing people to track their way home or find the fastest way to go to the cinema. Apart from the satnav capabilities, the candy-bar phone features a 2.8-inch (240×320) QVGA display, an integrated 2 megapixel camera module, and tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900Mhz) GSM network support.
No words on pricing at the moment, but it’d definitely wallet-friendly.
