Sony PSP

I know, I know. It’s wayyyyyyy too late to put a review about Sony PSP here. I just think it’s not perfect if I post a lot about this gaming console here but no review about it. So, yes, here it is. Just don’t hate me and ignore this post if you don’t like it. Please :p

Anyway, I’m sure most of you already know what PSP is and what the features are, so I’m not gonna say a lot about it. Basically, it’s a portable version of the famous gaming console from Sony, Playstation. It has 4.3-inch widescreen TFT LCD, built-in WiFi support, UMD and Memory Stick Duo support, and USB 2.0 port. It can play games (duh!), play movie, play music, and view picture. Nowadays, there are also a lot of homebrew applications that further increase the capabilities of this console. For example, the PSPRadio that lets you listen to internet radio using your PSP.

PCMag, one of my reliable source for a product review, has a detail review about PSP since a long time ago. Here’s an excerpt from the review:

Those in the target demographic have eagerly awaited its arrival. And even people other than 15- to- 25-year-old males may have more than a passing interest in one of the year’s most anticipated pieces of gadgetry: the Sony PSP. Originally conceived as the PlayStation Portable (and now simply called the PSP), the slick, gorgeous device succeeds spectacularly as a portable gaming console. If you view its music- and video-playback capabilities as bonus features, you’ll be thrilled; if you were hoping it would be best-in-class at all its endeavors, you’ll be slightly disappointed.
